12 Hugo `0.83` finally brings [WebP](https://gohugo.io/content-management/image-processing/) image processing support. Note that you need the [extended version](https://gohugo.io/troubleshooting/faq/#i-get-tocss--this-feature-is-not-available-in-your-current-hugo-version) of Hugo to encode to WebP. If you want to target all Hugo versions, you may use a construct such as this:
