+Jan. 28th's run: 13 miles in 2:02. Great weather, gets a bit chilly after sun set. Running at 58°F/18°C with direct sunlight isn't as sweaty as I expected. Previously I always finish the run without drinking nor eating. This time, however, I tried some random sports drink at the 9th mile and apparently a taste of sweetness when humans are exhausted turns them into super saiyans for a few minutes.+

+Feb 4th's run: 3 miles in 00:36. Starting the run a lot earlier today at 2:30pm. I suspect my left foot is displaying a slight sign of plantar fasciitis. Perhaps it's caused by me running only in the same direction (ccw)? The pain has relieved quite a lot compared to a few days ago fortunately. However,  it really frustrates me that a number of websites only fully support security key under Chrome, namely Google (registering new keys only work in Chrome, but Firefox is making a fix), and now Github ("We recommend updating to the latest Google Chrome to start using security key devices"). +Just finished S2, and I think Sympogear is just the kind of show that doesn't even need a good story to stand out - it's like an amalgam of macross, precure, kaiju, and many other awesome pieces without feeling out of place. +The weather is so great today - blue sky, sunshine, and all that. Made for a very comfortable run. Yesterday on the other hand was horrible: overcast, with short bursts of snow storm hitting every few minutes like thousands of tiny cannon balls, producing metallic noises as they smash on to my glasses and face. There were a few time I could hardly see what is in front of me and felt I was pushing through the snow and wind. I guess Bad Company could be a really scary stand. Fubuki is really the better word than snow storm to describe the situation. Fortunately weather clears up a bit as the day breaks. I was surprised to find myself rather dry after the run though - probably won't be the case if it were a summer storm.+

+Got a Sony NW-ZX507 - using high gain balanced out with CKR100 now. CKR100 sounded brighter than on my phone while still being silk smooth. Before the vocals were on the quieter side, but now everything seems to balance out nicely. My CKR100 is EU's 80 Ohm version, which may be another caveat?+

+Battery life is not stellar - but something I can get used to - I got to 50% after 8-10 hrs of listening to a mix of flac/hires flac/aac. I mean - back in the day we didn't have to charge our phones for weeks, but look at us now. It does finish charging within 2 hrs or so with a fast charger which is nice.+

+ATH SR9 gives my a lot of sibilance at first - also tried MSR7 and it was even worse, to the degree of not listenable - with burn in and a bit of EQ tweak it gives a really detailed sound. It also feels brighter than ATH CKR100. Female vocals sound irresistible on SR9, but otherwise I do like CRK100 a bit more now.+

I still need to break this psychological barrier of lossless vs lossy thing: there is nothing that special about CD quality and quality achievable with 320K AAC/MP3s. The ability to losslessly recover the original audio is albeit a nice feature, but if the transparency argument is to be trusted, fear not to add AACs/MP3s to your collection.+

+I'm sold - IPFS hash is calculated on file content, so this is perfect for my use case: small files like HTMLs change frequently while larger ones like images don't. Combined with the HTTP gateway and DNSLink, intrusion is minimal.+
